A unique Byzantine monument!

Complex of 4 temples. The 2 are single-aisled with a Kythira rhythm troll, the other two are simple, small, single-aisled vaulted. They are dedicated to Saint Demetrius, Saint Nicholas and the other two probably to the Virgin Mary and the Archangel Michael or to Saint Basil. The Byzantine frescoes are in three layers, dating from the 13th-14th century. It is considered one of the most important Byzantine monuments and one of the rarest in Greece.
